The production of Patriot Plast window sills is a modern high-tech process that combines European quality standards, environmentally friendly materials and innovative equipment. We manufacture PVC window sills on automated lines with control at each stage - from extrusion to lamination and packaging. Thanks to precise geometry, resistance to scratches, moisture and UV radiation, Patriot Plast products meet the highest requirements of Ukrainian and international consumers.

Each batch of products undergoes multi-level quality control: we test the window sills for load resistance, thermal stability and wear resistance of the coating. Thanks to modern lamination technologies, decorative surfaces have not only an attractive appearance, but also a high level of protection against mechanical damage and discoloration.

The processed PVC window parts are weighed on sensitive scales in a ratio determined by the formula
The raw material is transferred from the precise weighing to the hot mixer. The hot mixer ensures a homogeneous mixture and removes moisture, then transfers the mixture to the cold mixer.
After cooling the mixture to the technically required temperature, it is sent to the silo for "settling".
The raw material mixed for standard or premium window sill production is prepared for production in various waiting bins.
Raw materials prepared for the production of standard and premium window sills are loaded into extruders with an automatic transportation system.

After the process of heating and pressing the raw material using extrusion machines, the production of the planned window sill using molds begins.
After the window sill emerging from the mold takes its calibrated shape, it passes through pools of cold water for cooling.
After the cooling process, all standard and premium window sills undergo a grinding process to obtain a perfectly smooth surface before the lamination process.
After this stage, the production of the laminated window sill continues in two ways.

Advantages of Patriot-Plast window sills

To determine the advantages of the window sill, the Patriot-plast laboratory conducted the following tests:

  • Elasticity test
  • External load strength test
  • Adhesion test of lamination film
  • Water and moisture resistance test
  • Lamination surface quality test, condition 1: cup with hot drink
  • Lamination surface quality test, condition 2: with flower pot
  • Lamination surface quality test, condition 3: with cigarette

Elasticity test:

A window sill rests between two supports, and a 10 kg weight is left on the window sill for 24 hours. The overall geometry of the window sill does not change after the weight is removed.

External load strength test:

In the test of resistance to the weight of the outer surface for the entire line of Patriot-Plast window sills, the front axle of a passenger car was used. As a result, no rupture or deformation occurred on the surface of the window sill. (According to DSTU standards, tests are carried out at a weight of at least 95 kg and above.)

Adhesion test of lamination film:

During the manufacture of the window sill, the quality of the lamination film application is checked every hour to check the quality of adhesion. The tensile strength must be at least 40 Newtons.

Water and moisture resistance test :

Patriot Plast window sills have high water resistance. Premium and standard window sill samples are tested by standing in a container of water for 72 hours. As a result, deformation and delamination of the lamination film do not occur. Despite its high moisture resistance, it is not recommended to use it in rooms where the temperature is above 60 degrees and the humidity is above 75%.

Lamination surface quality test, condition 1: cup with hot drink

In tests conducted with hot coffee and hot tea, a freshly prepared drink with 95 degrees water was placed directly on the windowsill, and some of it was also poured onto the windowsill. After 6 hours, the cup was taken away and the windowsill was wiped, there was no deformation on the windowsill. When cleaning windowsills, attention should be paid to the composition of the detergents. It is recommended to use a cup holder for hot cups and hot materials.

*This test was conducted on standard and premium window sills in all available colors.

Lamination surface quality test, condition 2: with flower pot

Water was poured from the pot onto the windowsill to the point where it is located and soil from the pot was added to this area. After 24 hours, the pot is taken out and wiped with a damp cloth. There were no changes on the windowsill surface. If the pot is constantly moved by dragging it along the windowsill without lifting it, over time very light scratches may appear on the windowsill.

Lamination surface quality test, condition 3: with cigarette

A lit cigarette was extinguished on the surface of the Lesgard and Aliant windowsill. After, the surface is wiped with a damp cloth, the result: no traces remain on the surface of the windowsill.

A lit cigarette was extinguished on the surface of the Patriot and Silver Tech windowsill, previously untreated. After, the surface is wiped with a damp cloth. Result: a faint trace remains on the windowsill. (This test is carried out to check the durability of the windowsill coating. It is strictly not recommended to extinguish cigarettes on the windowsill in everyday life!!!)

General control of products

Patriot plast window sills are manufactured under close supervision from the very beginning of production to the end of loading.

  • Geometric measurements are constantly recorded.
  • The laser printer makes markings every meter.
  • The lamination surface is constantly checked by the lamination operator and the quality control department. (each package)
  • A general inspection of each package is carried out when loading the vehicle.

Vehicle loading methods

First method: In this loading method, windowsills of different sizes are classified in detail and loaded onto the vehicle without leaving any gaps between the packages. With this loading method, loading can be done up to the maximum tonnage limit allowed by the countries.

With this loading method, approximately 2900 square meters of standard sill loading can be done. The approximate weight is 22000 kg. The amount of square meters and weight may vary depending on the dimensions in the order. At the same time, premium class sills of approximately 2500 square meters and 22000 kg in weight can be loaded with this loading method.

After the installation is complete, it will appear as in the photo.

Second method: In this loading method, windowsills are classified according to the dimensions in the order. After being placed on wooden pallets prepared according to the dimensions in the order, the pallet is squeezed so that the product is not damaged. In the palletizing process, great attention is paid to strength. While loading the pallets onto the vehicle, the support parts are loaded in a way that will not damage the pallets.

In this loading method, the standard windowsill is approximately 2300 square meters and the weight is 21000 kg.It consists of approximately 18500 kg profile and 2500 kg pallets.Square meters and weight may vary according to order dimensions. In general, 24 pallets can be placed on the vehicle.

In premium class windowsills, approximately 2000 square meters of product can be placed as 18500 kg. Square meters and weights may vary according to order dimensions. The pallets weigh approximately 2500 kg and an average of 24 can fit into the vehicle. Total vehicle weight reaches approximately 21000 kg.

In pallet-shaped loads, long support boards are placed between the pallets to prevent the load from tilting sideways and damaging each other.
